Annette enjoys the personal and professional relationships with her clients as she provides direction and guidance with their financial lives. Planning, creating and investing for clients with a clearly defined path is what brings great pleasure to her. Seeing clients live life to the fullest with a greater financial peace of mind is her ultimate goal! She has a diverse group of clients that include young professionals, midlife achievers, retirees and business owners.
In January of 2021, Annette and her husband purchased the business building located at 1425 West Votaw Street in Portland to allow her to take her wealth management business independent with Woodbury Financial. This transition provided her with more opportunities to serve her wealth management clients at a higher level of service, independence and flexibility. The creation of Compass Wealth Solutions allowed the team to focus on future growth and higher efficiencies for their clients.
Annette also knows the importance of giving back to her community by volunteering her time. She has been active in various organizations in the Portland area. These include the Altrusa Club, Arts Place, IU Jay Hospital Foundation, the Rotary Club of Portland, Golf Brook Estates Community Association, Jay County Chamber of Commerce, Jay County Humane Society, Children’s Ministry at the Rock Church and the Jay-Randolph Developmental Services, Inc. She is a graduate of the Jay County Leadership Academy and was involved in securing funds for the 2015 Portland Water Park project. She is also a ministry partner of the Rock Church.
When not serving clients or volunteering her time she enjoys practicing yoga, traveling and spending time with family and friends, exploring the best gluten-free food items and restaurants, attending concerts and art events and playing in a women’s card club throughout the year. Her most favorite time is relaxing at sunset on her patio watching God’s paintbrush create yet another masterpiece!
